Brand Activation Manager Prestige - Europe


My client is one of world’s largest manufacturer active in the automotive industry (no car manufacturer). The company employs over 140,000 people around the world and sell products in more than 150 countries. The EMEA structure based near Brussels operates in more than 60 countries and employs over 18,200 employees in its offices and plants.


Job purpose


The overall responsibility of the new Brand Activation Manager role is based on 2 pillars:

  • Initiate collaborations with the Marketing teams of prestige OEM’s partners (Mercedes, BMW, Porsche…) in order to define and activate new international marketing programs aiming at supporting the brand at EMEA level

  • Lead all the driving events + automotive partnerships (WSC, BMW & Mercedes driving events, Nurburgring,…)

Main responsibilities


The overall responsibility of the job holder is to:

  • Define and activate marketing programs for prestige OEM’s. This includes to be the SPOC of everything concerning OE internally (with Marketing, activation, PR,…) and externally (direct contacts with OE,..) and lead the development of all activities related to it (Launch event, marketing contract, activation, communication,…)

  • Manage the full contract, relationship with and implementation of the contracts give & take for the selected driving schools (BMW/Mercedes), as well as the World Solar Challenge

  • Point of Contact for all projects with OE (not only for prestige OEM’S) and define ways to communicate the key success/stories

Job requirements

  • University degree in marketing, economics or business

  • 5-10 years of relevant professional experience in activation marketing within an Int’l environment

  • Used to negotiate and to develop international partnerships for brand-activation programs

  • Strong Affinity with luxury brands and cars

  • Overall: Self-starter, negociator, Team Player, Adaptable, Flexible, Creative, Patient, Service minded, Taking Ownership, Honnest

  • Proven project management skills

  • Influence people

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken

  • Able to work under pressure

  • Strong focus on problem solving, troubleshooting, solutions orientated

  • English: Excellent written and spoken English, other languages are an advantage
